Hey! My name is Jordan and I am a freelance graphic / web designer living near Chicago, Illinois. I was born 3 days after Christmas in 1988. My family is relatively small with two older sisters and my parents. Since a young age, I have always had a passion for designing, whether houses, web sites, icons, logos, or just drawing by hand. Lately I have started experimenting more with photography (capturing and manipulating in Photoshop) which has now become another great passion of mine. I have an Associate's Degree in Applied Science and am currently studying for my Bachelor's Degree, in Graphic Design, at Saint Xavier University.
Being able to live near such a thriving city, like Chicago, gives me so much inspiration for what I enjoy doing. Seeing the architecture, talking with many different styles of people, and enjoying the breathtaking views is what Chicago is all about. The architecture is just so amazing and is always changing giving new inspiration.
Growing up, my plan for the future was to become an architect but as time passed, I realized that with our current economy, becoming an architect would not be the best move. At that point I decided to study graphic design. I have always loved art so I knew I wanted to do something with that. I still have a passion for architecture but graphic design is now a big part of my life. I love being able to work with clients to figure out a design that will be able to fit their needs. Having this web site, I am able to share my passion of design with the rest of the world.
Currently, I am working as a freelancer graphic / web designer, as I attend school, but my long term goal, for the future, is to be able to work in a web design or graphic design firm with other talented professionals. Being able to design something that you can show to the world is so gratifying to me. I have a lot to offer with my own style.
If you would like to learn more about me or just want to talk, feel free to contact me at any time. I love to talk and meet new people even if it's just to say hi. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and I hope you enjoy browsing my web site.
